Lets start from the beginning.  My parents are UK born and they survived the bombings of England in WWII.  It is hard for me (now age 43) to imagine what that could have been like.  Now living in California (USA) it would be unthinkable that one could wake up to bombs dropping on one’s home.  My parents were not wealthy and my Dad worked his way thru university to earn electrical/mechanical engineering degrees while my mother brought up 3 kids (I have two brothers).  His choice of career took him to many countries across the globe (he still does travel even when retired).  This brings me to where I started my life.

I was born in Pakistan (Karachi) and lived and travel in Bahrain, UK, Canada, Amsterdam, Ghana, and now USA (California).  I spent my early years in an English boarding school (private school) close to Blackpool England as my folks were working overseas.  When we moved to Canada I went thru the public school system in Montreal Quebec.  Finally, in California, I attended CSUH (Cal State University Hayward) where I worked part time (accounting/admin) and went to university full time.  The results were graduation in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.

After graduation, I worked my way up the ranks at various large and small companies to where I’ve settled today.  I’m director of development and lead programmer for a small software company based in Oakland CA.  I’ve survived the Dot.com era primarily because the software I create has a solid business foundation behind it.

I have many hobbies from racing, to video/audio creation, to online simulations/gaming.  I present  to you my life beyond work, my friends, my family, and of course my wonderful wife.
